Yacht Club Area Real Estate
The Yacht Club area was the first section of Cape Coral to be developed in the 1960s. This venerable neighborhood features an eclectic mix of vintage 1960s homes as well newer upscale luxury homes that have recently sprouted up in the area. Savvy buyers have flocked to the Yacht club area to purchase older homes in this neighborhood to either renovate or rebuild original homes. Significant teardown and redevelopment activity has occurred along Bayshore Drive, Coral Drive and Dolphin Drive. A visit to the Yacht Club area is not complete without checking out the breathtaking new homes that have been built on these waterfront streets.
Boating in the Yacht Club area is among the finest in Southwest Florida, with the majority of this area featuring direct deep water sailboat access to the gulf. There are few places in Southwest Florida where relatively affordable sailboat access homes are still available.
Anchoring this neighborhood is the Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park. Residents enjoy the Cape's only beach, a boat ramp, marina, pier, swimming pool, community center, senior center, and tennis courts.
The Yacht Club area is located in Southeast Cape Coral and is bordered by Cape Coral parkway to the North, The Bimini Canal to the West and The Caloosahatchee River to the East and South.
