TwinEagles Golfing

TwinEagles has two grand golf courses that are adorned with lovely cypress strands, glistening blue-green lakes. The Talon, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus, Jr. in 1999, is an 18-hole, par-72 course that provides a challenge to even the greatest golfers. The Eagle is an 18-hole, par-71 course that was originally created by Gary Player in 2007 and renovated by Steve Smyers and his associate Patrick Andrews in 2011. The golf club was host to the ACE Group Classic for five years and Golf Magazine named it “The Best Private U.S. Course of the year”. Dr. Jim Suttie, who was named the PGA National Instructor of the Year in 2000, heads the Suttie Golf Academy which is located on the grounds. Openings for classes are available to all members. There is also a practice facility with a driving range that is double ended, multiple sets of tees as well as an area for short games. Both of the courses are adorned with rolling, green, grass fairways and rippling dunes paying tribute to St. Andrews of Scotland, golf’s birthplace.
