Sabal Springs Golf and Racquet Club
Sabal Springs Golf and Racquet Club is an amenity-rich 55+ community located just off I-75 in North Fort Myers, Florida. The majority of the 770 homes in the community were constructed in the late 1980s and 1990s with many featuring renovations and newly completed custom finishes to reflect modern day expectations of more open floor plans and light-filled rooms.
While Sabal Springs Golf and Racquet Club boasts an 18-hole, Par 60 golf course, golf is optional and residents even have the option of paying as they play. HOA fees include security, maintenance as well as membership in the clubhouse which features tennis facilities, a fitness center, heated pool, and wealth of dining options ranging from casual pub fare to more formal plates. At the heart of the community, the club also sponsors a number of social activities and special events throughout the year.
The golf course features 3,279 yards of meticulously landscaped greens from the longest tees with a course rating of 58.9 and a slope rating of 95. Designed by Gordon G. Lewis, the course offers tees and holes for golfers of all ages and degrees of skill. A full-time director of golf assists in booking tee times, providing instruction or helping to select the appropriate equipment for all golfers.
