Hideaway Country Club
The Hideaway Country Club is an established golfing community located centrally in Fort Myers. The Hideaway features low-rise condos located in five separate villages: Augusta; Baltusrol; Greenbrier; Merion and Oakmont. The Hideway was developed in the mid 1980s.
Anchoring the Hideaway community is an 18-hole Presidential golf course with optional membership. The course which was designed by Ron Garl was opened in 1984 and renovated in 2012. It plays 5,002 yards, par 67 with a course rating of 65 and a slope rating of 111. Golfers can bring their own cart and are not charged a trail fee at the Hideaway. Other amenities at the Hideaway include four tennis courts, fitness center, pool, clubhouse with restaurant and a pro shop.
The Hideaway is located in Fort Myers off Trailwinds Drive, east of US-41. This location is just south of Page Field and convenient to the Downtown Fort Myers and the wide range of shopping, dining and entertainment venues located on US-41.
