The Heron at the Sanctuary is a low-rise condo community constructed in 1994 nestled within some of Sanibel Island's most appealing tropical landscapes. The Heron offers 2 and 3 bedroom floor plans with 2.5 - 3.5 baths + den with square footage ranging up to 2465 SF as well as elevators in many of the buildings. With just 30 residences, the Heron is an intimate community especially popular with golfers because of the expansive views of the fairway from just about every angle.

The Sanctuary is a private golf club located at Wulfert Point, near the renowned Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. The Heron is located on Baltustrol Court within the Sanctuary community. The Sanctuary is located on the northwest end of Sanibel Island on Wulfurt Road,north of Sanibel-Captiva Road.
