Harlem Heights
Bisected by Gladiolus Drive, Harlem Heights is a community in South Fort Myers comprising a mix of single-family homes and high-rise apartment buildings. Many of the residences are newer, built in 2000 or later while there are also established homes built between 1970 and 1999. The area is undergoing revitalization and offers opportunities for first-home buyers as well as investors. Many older homes have undergone renovations and updates to reflect modern aesthetics.
The community is home to Harlem Heights Park, a sprawling park that features basketball courts, soccer and football fields as well as a pavilion, children’s playground and areas for grilling. Harlem Heights is 10 miles south of the center of Fort Myers and just north of Fort Myers Beach.
