Cypress Bend at Shadow Wood Preserve features single-family homes built around 2006.  This community overlooks the golf course.  Some homes include private swimming pools.  This is a gated community designed by Bonita Bay Group starting in 2002.

Amenities of living within Cypress Bend include The Preserve Golf Course.  This is an 18-hole golf course designed by Arthur Hills, which winds throughout the entire development.  Shadow Wood Country Club also has two other golf courses, as well as two practice facilities and nine lighted tennis courts.  There are also two clubhouses within the property, offering both informal and formal dining options for members.  Residents of Shadow Wood Preserve also have the option of joining Commons Club, with a spa, fitness center and Beach Club, as well as a restaurant and enrichment center.

Cypress Bend is located just to the west of U.S. Highway 41.  It is between Sanibel Boulevard and Constitution Boulevard.
