Windsong Boasts West Indies-Inspired Villas

For a prime location and West Indies-inspired villas, it’s time to consider the desirable community of Windsong in Fort Myers. This gated community of twin villas is a newer community that’s spread across 24-acres in South Fort Myers.

In all, there are around 100 paired villas in the community, with two different designs. The smaller floorplan at Windsong contains around 1,600 square feet of living space with two-bedrooms plus a den and two-baths.

It’s said this layout is good for those who want a gourmet kitchen. The other floorplan in Windsong has around 1,800 square feet of living space.

This villa also has two-baths but features three-bedrooms plus a den. It contains a larger entertaining area than the smaller floorplan in the community and was designed to feel more like a single-family home on the inside than an attached villa.

Both types of villas come with a two-car garage. As for some of the community’s shared amenities, you’ll find an open-air rec center with a swimming pool and spa, a pavilion, a dog park, and a grilling area.

The peaceful location sits just across the street from thousands of acres of natural space and an elevated boardwalk at Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve. The preserve is a good place to spot native wildlife and birdlife and is commonly open from sunrise to sunset.

It offers some guided walks on certain days and times throughout the year. There’s also an Interpretive Center with exhibits and a gift shop at the preserve.

At the same time, living at Windsong means never being too far away from area restaurants or grocery stores, either. The location is in the Daniels Parkway Corridor of Fort Myers, which is to the west of I-75.

Windsong was developed by Neal Communities just a few years ago. Neal has also constructed the same floorplan in Naples.
