WildBlue Now Open in Fort Myers

The highly anticipated WildBlue development of Fort Myers is now open for viewing. This master-planned community has more than a dozen furnished model homes available for prospective buyers to walk through.
The 3,500-acre property is under development right now by Lennar, with partners including Stock, WCI and Pulte Homes. Prospective buyers have a number of different home designs to choose from already, including homes starting priced in the $400,000s to others in the multi-million-dollar range.
Home designs generally start at a comfortable 1,600 square feet of living space, with other homes boasting more than 4,000 square feet. Eventually, WildBlue will make room for more than 1,000 homes and plenty of upscale amenities.
With single-family homes and estates in WildBlue, new buyers have the choice of several waterfront properties. That’s because the community includes hundreds of acres of freshwater lakes, all surrounded by well more than 1,000 acres of peaceful preserve.
Planned amenities at WildBlue include the resort-style swimming pools and a clubhouse, plus a fitness center and your choice of indoor and outdoor dining possibilities. As well, plans also call for tennis, pickleball and bocce ball courts, as well nearby biking and hiking trails for recreation, fishing and boating, in addition to a marina.
Other options of living at WildBlue include basketball, a tennis pro shop, a yoga lawn, playground and a kayak launch. Outside of the community, residents are treated to easy access to a variety of options in dining, shopping and entertainment.
As well, the location simply offers its future residents easy access to area beaches, the airport and even Florida Gulf Coast University. The new community of WildBlue sits just off Corkscrew Road and just a few short miles from I-75. This also puts it close to many historic sites and attractions in the Fort Myers area.
