West Bay Club Upgrading Amenities

Fresh off a multi-million-dollar renovation project to update its golf course, West Bay Club is now eying a new $12 million amenity improvement and renovation plan. Members and residents of West Bay Club recently gave the go-ahead to update the Bay House activity center, dining options and a poolside fitness building.

Plans also include making updates to the Beach Club, in addition to the Golf House and pub. The West Bay Vision 2020 plan begins this April with phase one of a multi-phase project.

Phase one includes tackling the Golf House and pub. Crews plan to upgrade the outdoor terrace and add in a new signature bar. They’ll also be enhancing the entry and concierge space and expanding the nearby dining and event space with more seating.

Other new additions will include a private dining room, updates to the locker rooms and modifications to the pro shop. Additional plans call for expanding dining and social space at the club.

Crews will be completely renovating and updating Bay House. Eventually members will be able to enjoy new athletic rooms for group classes, new steam and sauna rooms and a new demonstration kitchen.

The Bay House will also see improvements to its second-floor meeting space. A new fitness facility will be going up adjacent to Bay House. Looking out over the swimming pool area and golf course, members will have access to additional fitness space and a trainer’s area.

The West Bay Beach Club will be expanded and upgraded with new lighting, furniture and paint on its upper floor. There will also be a new beach boardwalk, connecting up the parking area to the beach.

In late 2018 crews completed the West Bay Club’s last major renovation project. That $4 million project lasted eight months and resulted in updates to the club’s championship golf course.
