Verandah Community Acquired By Kolter Group

Bonita Bay Group has sold its interest in Verandah to the West Palm Beach based Kolter Group.  This is the first investment in Southwest Florida for the Kolter Group.  They do have several active communities in other parts of Florida including the Emerald Coast, Palm Beach County and Orlando. Verandah is a 1,456-acre master-planned community located along the Orange River in East Fort Myers.  Bonita Bay Group started Verandah in 2003 and has built-out about half of the community.  Kolter Group acquired the Verandah Club which includes two 18-hole golf courses as well as the remaining unbuilt homesites in the community. Kolter Group plans to serve in the role as developer coordinating with other builders active in the community as well as building homes themselves.  Here is a resource to learn more about this community and view active Verandah real estate listings.
