Vasari Poised to Start $6.1M Renovation

A multi-million-dollar renovation is in the works for Vasari Country Club. The Bonita Springs club is preparing for a $6.1 million expansion and renovation project that could take months to complete.

The newly coined Renaissance Project at Vasari County Club includes additions to the lower and upper levels of the clubhouse. It also extends to the outside covered dining area.

Crews plan to expand the Grill & Bar Room to add in more seating and a large bar. They’ll also be adding room to the upper level kitchen.

As for the lower level of the club, plans call for creating a clubhouse Piazza. The Piazza will offer a kitchen, outdoor bar area and dining.

As part of the creation of Piazza, the club’s Golf Shop is being relocated to a new building in front of the club’s fitness center. Along with that fitness center, Vasari is also home to 18 holes of golf.

The club additionally boasts tennis courts and bocce courts. Currently, the club offers several options in dining, including the Grill Room, a board room and a private dining room.

The club also hosts a full calendar of social events and activities. As for residential options, the bundled country club community is home to hundreds of carriage and garden homes, plus villas, coach homes and estate homes.

While Vasari is set on nearly 400-acres of lakes and nature preserves, its surroundings are just as desirable. The location positions residents close to some of the region’s best white sand beaches, shopping, dining and cultural attractions.

This marks the first renovation of the club since it opened in the mid 2000s. Vasari Country Club also recently redesigned its championship golf course.

Barring any delays, renovations at Vasari Country Club could be finished by the end of this year. Tentatively, a grand opening is planned for early 2021.
