Two Distinct Neighborhoods Available at The Plantation
Filled with your choice of several different home designs, two distinct neighborhoods are available at The Plantation. Construction on this master-planned community in Fort Myers first began in the mid 2000s, with plans to eventually construct more than 1,000 single-family homes, carriage homes, and villas.
Both neighborhoods in The Plantation include your choice of single-family homes. The homes styles in The Plantation may range from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,100 square feet of living space. It’s common to find between two- to four-bedrooms and up to 3.5-baths. Most are single-level floorplans with an attached garage.
The Somerset neighborhood of The Plantation also includes some carriage homes. The attached carriage homes typically come four to six units per building, so options exist on either the first or the second floor. The carriage homes typically range from around 1,600 square feet to upwards of 2,400 square feet of living space. It’s common to find at least two-bedrooms and an attached two-car garage.
As for the attached villas, you’ll find them in the Bridgetown neighborhood of The Plantation. The attached duplexes come in two different floorplans. The first has 1,500 square feet of space, including two-bedrooms plus a den and a two-car garage. The other plan includes 1,800 square feet of living space, with three-bedrooms plus a den and a two-car garage.
The Bridgetown neighborhood has its own amenity center with a fitness center, tennis courts, bocce ball, and basketball. There’s also a resort-style swimming pool and spa in the neighborhood.
The Somerset neighborhood, on the other hand, also has its own activity center, including a fitness center, a tennis and golf pro shop, a library, billiards, tennis courts, and resort-style swimming pool. The main attraction here, though, is golf, as the property includes an 18-hole golf course, plus a Great House with fine dining and a bar.
