Top Fort Myers Communities With Low HOA Fees

Fort Myers is home to some exceptional communities, but if you’re trying to find one with low HOA fees, you don’t have to sacrifice. Some of the city’s top communities actually do have it all.

Sabal Springs

One option for buyers is the amenity-rich Sabal Springs Golf & Racquet Club. HOA fees cover club membership here, including tennis, swimming, a fitness center and access to on-site dining options. Sabal Springs is also home to an 18-hole golf course, which is optional to residents and can be used on a pay-per-play basis.

Constructed mostly in the late 1980s and 1990s, many of the homes in this community have more recently been updated and remodeled. Some of them now feature open floor plans with plenty of modern features and finishes.

Silverlakes

The homes of Silverlakes sit in the city’s Gateway development. With around 300 well-priced single-family homes and villas to choose from, Silverlakes offers a number of exciting floor plans for buyers to consider. Developed beginning in the early 1990s, some of the residences of Silverlakes back up to the waterfront, while other homes offer preserve views.

Amenities include a clubhouse with a fitness center and a swimming pool with lake views. Gateway also offers soccer fields, additional swimming pools, basketball courts, a dog park and a playground.

Eagle Ridge

The Eagle Ridge community is home to a Gordon Lewis-designed golf course. The public course is just part of the property’s appeal, as buyers are also treated to the advantage of low HOA fees.

Hundreds of single-family homes, townhomes and condos are located in the 400-acre community of Eagle Ridge. As a bonus, the homes offer either golf course, water or preserve views. You’ll find the community off Daniels Parkway in South Fort Myers, just to the east of Six Mile Cypress Parkway.
