Brand new options in luxury living emerge as The Place on First opens itself up to residential buyers in the River District. The new, mixed-use development is currently under construction at First and Jackson, the first building of its kind to go up in Downtown Fort Myers in about ten years. While floors one and two of the building will be reserved for private parking, retail and restaurants, floors three and four will house office space. That leaves floors five through eight for the building’s planned 16 condos. With each unit ranging from around 1,300 square feet to more than 2,400 square feet in size, the building will include four condos on each of its residential levels, the majority of which will offer Caloosahatchee River views. The homes will also include from two- to three-bedrooms and 2.5 to 3.5-baths. Some of the homes are also being designed to offer downtown views, complimented by such unique features as brick accent walls on the inside and private terraces off the units for outdoor living. Priced from the $400,000s to the $800,000s, the homes will also offer cove lighting, massive windows, large walk-in closets and plenty of storage space. Meanwhile, all residents will delight in a top floor Sky Terrace, complete with a splash pool and outdoor grill on the 9th level, along with indoor and outdoor space for entertaining and socializing with neighbors and friends. The building will also include two guest suites, a fitness studio and bicycle storage. The building’s amenities add to the site’s already enviable location, close to various shops, galleries, restaurants and nightlife within the highly sought-after River District of Fort Myers. This puts residents within an easy stroll of various options in recreation and entertainment, some of which won’t even require stepping outside The Place on First development.
