The Forest Country Club was in the news this past Monday when it hosted the 19th Annual Boston Red Sox Children’s Hospital Celebrity Classic. Several Red Sox players past and present hit the links for the day to support the Southwest Florida Children's Hospital. This prestigious South Fort Myers club features 36-holes of golf on a 650-acre setting bordering a nature preserve. Limited to just 650 equity golf memberships, the two 18-hole championship courses at the Forest have ample capacity to provide the optimal golfing experience. Both designed by Gordon Lewis, the Bear plays 6,940 yards and the Bobcat plays 6,535 yards. Both courses have undergone renovations and offer vibrant and challenging golfing. The Forest offers both single-family homes and condo housing options. The community does not require mandatory golf membership, making it a very poplar option with part-time, second home owners. Here is a resource to view active Forest Country Club real estate listings.
