The 28,000 square foot Bonita Springs clubhouse was updated with more contemporary design elements, infusing more natural light into the building’s overall look while also freshening up the feel of the club. By bringing in lighter colors, along with new artwork, lighting, draperies and furniture, the club is now more functional in design, but retains its original fantastic views of the greens and the water. Led by Clive Daniel Hospitality of Naples, the design updates compliment the other enhancements recently made to the property, including a six-month long renovation of The Colony’s 27-hole golf course. Improvements included adding new putting and chipping greens as well as restoring some bunkers. Other updates were made to The Sports Club, home to a swimming pool and spa, several spa treatment rooms, an aerobics studio, fitness equipment, a tennis shop and several Har-Tru tennis courts. Crews added in a juice bar, more seating and a new awning. The Colony offers up both equity golf and equity sports memberships, giving a range of options in dining, fitness and recreation.
