The Club at Renaissance Reinvents Itself

One of the premiere golf course communities in Fort Myers is reinventing itself and ready to embark on an entirely new chapter. About a year ago, crews began a top to bottom remake of The Club at Renaissance.

Crews reimagined the club and its golf course to make the overall experience more inviting. Some of the new improvements include a fire pit and poolside bar, along with two new pickleball courts and bocce ball courts. There’s even an active bocce league at the club.

The two-story, Mediterranean-style clubhouse, meanwhile, also offers up on-site dining options, as well as a fitness center and full spa. In addition, you’ll find golf and tennis, a resort-style swimming pool, a playground and more.

Originally opened in the mid 2000s, the club was quickly celebrated at the time for its Arthur Hills designed golf course. The following year, the clubhouse was built, and quickly gained awards and attention of its own.

The new improvements bring even more exciting options for members to enjoy. Several different membership levels are available, to both residents and non-residents, although golf memberships are more limited and exclusive.

Along with the long list of added amenities, the low density community of Renaissance also makes room for a few hundred luxury homes, all of which look out over the golf course, nearby lakes and nature preserves. Constructed by a select group of homebuilders, many of the homes of Renaissance additionally come with private swimming pools and admirable indoor-outdoor living space.

Yet another advantage of Renaissance is that the property sits in the Daniels Corridor of Fort Myers. The area is close to some of the region’s best beaches, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options. It is also not far from Sanibel and Captiva islands, or from the many delights of Downtown Fort Myers.
