Spacious Homes Grow on Trees in Remington Oaks

With large lots and a large amount of square footage to call your own, spacious homes seemingly grow on trees in Remington Oaks. This coveted community of single-family homes is only about a 10 to 15-minute drive from Downtown Fort Myers and the River District, but feels a world apart, thanks to its natural preserves and water views.

Less than 70 homesites exist in the entire 100-acre estate community, where the single-family homes all sit on at least a one-acre lot, allowing for plenty of privacy. Many of the homes overlook views of lakes and wooded areas, too.

Because of the size of the lots, it’s not uncommon to find covered lanais, private swimming pools and spas, custom grilling stations, and more in the backyard living and entertaining space, while some homeowners have even added gardens. In addition, some of the homes have extended garage space for extra convenience.

While some of the homes were constructed more than a decade ago, there are also some homes that were built in more recent years. This oftentimes means the latest features and finishes with the homes, as even some of the older homes have sometimes been upgraded or updated with newer offerings.

The newer construction homes of Remington Oaks also commonly include large primary suites, as well as some guest ensuites. In addition, you may find a kitchen with an island, a dining room, and an open concept floor plan. Some of the homes of Remington Oaks have high ceilings too, which makes them feel even larger.

That’s on top of the actual size of the homes. A majority of residences in Remington Oaks tend to have between 2,400 square feet to 4,000 square feet of living space.

Originally developed by Ryland Homes, the Remington Oaks community is found in Buckingham Rural Community Preserve. The homes are located off Buckingham Road, which is in between Orange River Boulevard and Bird Road.
