Shadow Wood Expanding Clubhouse
Popular Shadow Wood Country Club is expanding. The club’s currently in the process of adding on to its main clubhouse, creating a massive new covered outdoor dining space for members to enjoy.
The expansion project is a re-imagining of the club’s outdoor lounge. While it currently offers space for around three-dozen seats, the expansion project turns it into more than 250 casual dining seats. According to the club, it’s in response to what country club members are seeking in outdoor space.
The new, $5.2 million addition means more room for viewing the club’s driving range, with folding glass doors capable of accommodating the desirability of indoor/outdoor dining in a variety of weather conditions. The new dining experience is slated to be finished in November.
It joins several existing options in dining at the club, including the casual Grill Room, a more formal dining room and event space, plus other more casual outdoor seating overlooking the club’s golf courses. The established country club is home to three golf courses in all, a tennis complex, bocce ball courts and two clubhouses; one of which is the main clubhouse, while the other clubhouse is located at Shadow Wood Preserve.
In addition, the property offers a private beach area on Bonita Beach. The location is also home to dozens of neighborhoods, complete with your choice of estate homes, single-family homes and villas, plus coach homes.
Many of the homes of Shadow Wood at The Brooks overlook one of the property’s golf courses, nature preserves or area lakes. The home designs of Shadow Wood Preserve, meanwhile, range from single-family homes and villas to coach homes.
You’ll find Shadow Wood just off Three Oaks Parkway. The location puts area residents and members conveniently close to several other options in the area, including shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities in Southwest Florida.
