Serengeti Delivers Riverfront Living at its Best
For riverfront living at its best, consider the many advantages of the Serengeti community of Alva. This is a gated, deed restricted community that’s being built up right alongside the Caloosahatchee River.
A real estate investor originally purchased 16 homesites in the community in 2016. Over the years, he then prepped the property for future development.
Last spring, Lennar Homes snapped up the dozen or so remaining homesites for a little over $1 million. Lennar plans to construct homes starting at around 2,400 square feet of living space.
A few of the homesites are already sold, while some others at Serengeti are under construction right now. This includes the Summerville floorplan from Lennar, which provides for three-bedrooms and two-baths.
This is a single-story home with a large owner’s suite, walk-in closets, a lanai, and a three-car garage. In all, the home delivers around 2,400 square feet of space.
The Sunset floorplan from Lennar includes three-bedrooms and three-baths. With around 2,600 square feet of living space, buyers can expect to find an open layout with a split-wing plan. This particular home is also a single-story floorplan with a lanai.
Yet another floorplan from Lennar in the Serengeti community is the Richmond. This floorplan includes around 2,700 square feet of living space. This is a single-story home with a lanai, a den that could be used as a home office or flex space, as well as four-bedrooms and three-baths.
The community will also include access to a boat ramp and dock. Of course, the desire for new construction and a riverfront location is what’s driving people to consider the Serengeti community.
The community sits several miles east of SR 31, which is also east of the Franklin Locks. The new development is found off North River Road in Alva, Florida. The quiet town of Alva is merely a short drive away from Fort Myers.
