The luxury market in Southwest Florida is doing well, as indicated by swift pre-sale reservations for the upscale Seaglass high-rise tower in Bonita Bay. The new 26-story, 120-unit tower is Bonita Springs’ newest tower, and has sold 25 units since October with an average price of $1.6 million. Construction is expected to begin sometime later this year. Homebuilder Ronto Group will start building the tower when it pre-sells half of the building’s condos. Seaglass At Bonita Bay will be the newest tower since 2008 when the economy faltered. Ronto Group decided to go forward and begin the new tower now that the economy has recovered, and the luxury resale market is on the upswing. Seaglass will feature larger kitchens and more open floor designs than other older towers in the area. The bigger kitchens will open to the living rooms. The outdoor terraces will be larger, and the master baths will be sleeker than previous towers already built in Bonita Bay. Impressive residential features will also include extensive glass to enjoy sunrise-to-sunset views of Estero Bay, islands, Gulf of Mexico, mangrove preserves and Bonita Bay’s golf courses; 2-3 expansive outdoor screened and/or open wraparound terraces; summer kitchens available in some residences; private elevator foyers; tall 10’ ceilings; and underground parking. The residences will range in size from 2,900-3,400 square feet: floor plans feature 3 BR/3.5 BA, or 3 BR+Den or optional 4th BR/3.5 BA. The penthouses will be 4,600 square feet and offer 3 BR+Den or optional 4th BR/3.5 BA, or 4 BR+Den and 4.5 BA. Wonderful amenities at Seaglass At Bonita Bay begin with resident socials hosted by the community association and resident clubs. Backwater Jack’s restaurant for dining is on the premises. Other community amenities include Bonita Bay Marina, a private beach park on Little Hickory Island with a courtesy shuttle, more than 1,400 acres of parks and preserves, a butterfly garden, 12 miles of nature walks and trails, kayaking, and canoeing. Residents can also enjoy the amenities of the Bonita Bay Club with 3 on-site and 2 off-site golf courses, a Clubhouse, fitness center and on-site marina.
