Portico: Reimagining Amenities

From its waterfront views to its fitness center, the new Portico community in Fort Myers is reimagining amenities. This gated new community at once welcomes new and prospective residents with towering palm trees and natural preserves.
With two lakes to its credit, the homes of the new Portico community are designed to enjoy the advantage of peaceful preserve and lake views. The community also offers a swimming pool and the advantage of a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Above all, Portico offers a continuous, resort-style experience for its residents. Some of the more innovative amenities come with the individual home designs.
Lennar is building several different homes in Portico and other Southwest Florida communities, incorporating such design concepts as the company’s “Everything’s Included” philosophy. Lennar is also incorporating its “Wi-Fi CERTIFIED” design feature into its new construction homes, with such technological additions as integrated home automation and voice control using Amazon Alexa.
With more than a dozen floor plans from Lennar, new buyers have the option to choose from one of the homebuilder’s executive, manor, estate or villa designs. Typically ranging from around 1,600 square feet to 3,800 square feet of living space, the neighborhood has plenty of options for new buyers.
Floor plans include an executive home that opens up to a covered lanai. The home additionally features a breakfast nook and a formal dining room.
Another option in the neighborhood is an estate home with an open kitchen, formal dining area and a great room. In terms of manor homes, Lennar offers floor plans complete with large open kitchens and plenty of entertaining space.
There is also the option of choosing one of Lennar’s Next Gen home designs. These homes are constructed with multi-generational living space in mind. Some include an upstairs loft, perfect for a game room or even a home theater.
