Our Favorite Villa Neighborhoods in Fort Myers

If you’re in the market for a villa in Fort Myers, there are several great neighborhoods to choose from.

Watermark

The gated Watermark neighborhood offers both paired villas and single-family homes for buyers to consider. Made up of nearly 300 residences in all, the roughly 100-acre community is also home to four lakes. Shared amenities include tennis courts, a basketball court, and a pickleball court. The community also offers a clubhouse with a fitness center, swimming pool, and spa. You’ll find the Watermark community to the south of Colonial Boulevard, just off Winkler Avenue South in Fort Myers. Most of the homes of Watermark come with stucco exteriors and barrel tile roofs.

Villa Pines

Villa Pines is made up of nearly three dozen villas in the Daniels Corridor section of Fort Myers. You’ll find the gated community between US 41 and Metro Parkway, just off Daniels Boulevard and not far from Bell Tower Mall. The peaceful setting offers plenty of space for large floorplans and even larger lots.

Whiskey Creek

Whiskey Creek is yet another neighborhood to search for paired villas in Fort Myers. This community sits just to the north of College Parkway, between McGregor Boulevard and Summerlin Road in South Fort Myers. Residents of Whiskey Creek can additionally choose from a golf or social membership at Whiskey Creek Country Club, plus some homes in the community have Gulf access via the Caloosahatchee River.

River Avenue Villas

River Avenue Villas also offers several dozen twin villa-style homes for buyers to choose from, with floorplans typically starting at around 1,500 square feet of living space. Some of the oldest homes in this community were originally designed in the 1920s, but there are also several homes that were built around the Mid-Century mark. You’ll find the community off McGregor Boulevard and close to the Caloosahatchee River.
