South Beach meets Fort Myers at the Oasis high-rise condo located in a waterfront setting just a short hop from the trendy Downtown River District. Stunning, unobstructed views across the mile-wide Caloosahatchee River make sunsets a daily work of art at the Oasis. The recent purchase by Sarasota-based Domus Group II LLC of 72 new, unsold units at the Oasis has created a buzz in the local real estate community. Domus acquired this bulk block of units in October 2012 for $10.66M ($148,107 per unit). Domus has an established track record of acquiring new, unsold condo assets and marketing them to end users. Over the past 15 months they have sold 124 of the 130 units that they acquired in bulk at the 5300 Lofts development in Atlanta. The new Oasis owners have recently kicked off their marketing efforts and 13 of these units are now listed for sale. These new units range in price from $192,900 for a 2 BR / 2 BA / 1,334 SF 10th floor unit to $381,900 for a 3 BR + den / 2.5 BA / 1,802 SF penthouse. Current Oasis prices, which start in the $140s per SF, are well below replacement cost for luxury high-rise condo units. If you are interested in learning more about the Oasis, here is a resource to view active Oasis Condo listings. Our team is intimately familiar with the Oasis development and can provide buyers with comparative information about this project and the other high-rise developments in Fort Myers.
