New 55+ Active Community Coming to Babcock Ranch

Another new community is coming to Babcock Ranch, and this one is specifically aimed at 55+ active adults. Regency at Babcock Ranch will eventually be home to nearly 500 new homes and villas, as well as a number of resort-style amenities.

Already, crews are busy constructing the new community’s sales center and some of its model homes. It’s likely Regency at Babcock Ranch will be open sometime in spring of next year.

Of the 495 new residences, the majority will be free-standing one- and two-story homes. There will also be around 150 attached villas in the community for buyers to choose from.

Buyers will have the option of nine different home designs from Toll Brothers. They’ll range from approximately 1,500 square feet of living space to close to 3,000 square feet of space.

The Sol Collection consists of homesites with either lake or preserve views, as well as open, flexible floorplans with smart home technology features. Buyers will have the opportunity to personalize their new home with hundreds of different designer options.

As for some of the shared residential amenities, homebuyers will have their own exclusive use of neighborhood extras, as well as access to some amenities in the larger, master-planned community of Babcock Ranch. This means living close to area walking trails, an amenity center, and a putting green, as well as the Babcock Ranch Boardwalk and Founders Square.

For its part, Babcock Ranch is considered the country’s very first solar-powered town. The large development has its own solar farm for renewable energy, its own neighborhood school, parks, community gardens, businesses, and homes.

This is the first Regency 55+ active-adult community from Toll Brothers to come to Southwest Florida, although there are several other Regency communities in other markets already. Toll Brothers also has a community in Babcock Ranch called Waterview Landing.
