Mirada’s Future is Sunny

As the very first all-solar community in Fort Myers, Mirada’s future is certainly sunny! Not only is the newer construction community a first for Fort Myers, but also for Southwest Florida, as every home in Mirada was constructed with the addition of solar panels.

That’s significant in a state known for its almost year-round sunshine. Because solar panels are standard in Mirada, the installation cost, which often gets passed on to homeowners, is minimized, making having a solar panel home that much more affordable.

It’s said the microinverter-based system that homes use in Mirada helps homeowners better capitalize on shade resilience, longevity, and energy. A subsidiary of Lennar monitors the solar energy system, then homeowners are provided with detailed information themselves, including home energy usage for no additional fee.

The single-family homes of Mirada typically range from around 1,600 square feet to 3,300 square feet in size, generally with anywhere from three- to five-bedrooms. You may find granite countertops and wood cabinetry.

Some of the homes also come with private swimming pools. Some of the homes of Mirada recently listed on the market include a loft area for flexibility, a game room, a formal dining room, and custom finishes.

In all, there are around 100 homes to choose from in Mirada, with a half dozen different floorplans to consider. Homes in the gated community feature either lake views or views of the nearby nature preserve.

This Lennar community sits in South Fort Myers, off Bass Road. This means living a short drive away from Gulf beaches, and just minutes from local shops, retailers, and grocery stores.

As well, you will find several nearby golf courses, and the Downtown River District is not far away, either. The community includes two large lakes, and homeowners are responsible for a quarterly HOA fee.
