Lexington Country Club Combines Challenging Golf with Picturesque Homes

Many homebuyers are drawn in by golf course communities and all the added amenities, but that’s just one of the perks of living at Lexington Country Club. The private golf club combines the allure of challenging golf with picturesque homes.

Originally designed by Gordon Lewis in the mid 1990s, the Lexington golf course was part of a multi-million-dollar, full redesign and renovation project in recent years. Along with the golf course, Lexington Country Club also offers a half-dozen heated swimming pools, a dozen lighted tennis courts, and some bocce ball courts.

In addition, the clubhouse features a 24-hour fitness center, and both indoor and outdoor dining experiences. In all, there are close to 1,500 single-family homes, condos, and villas to choose from in Lexington.

This means a range of price points to consider, as well as differing views, as the development is divided into both a Lake Village and a Golf Village. This private, bundled golf course community includes club membership with real estate sales.

Those living in the Golf Village at Lexington enjoy certain golf privileges, while those living in the Lake Village have access to many of the amenities, but there are some golf course limitations. There are around 800 properties in the Golf Village of Lexington Country Club.

The remaining properties are found in Lexington’s Lake Village. A bundled golf condo in Lexington recently went on the market with three-bedrooms and two-baths.

Other options include a recently listed carriage home close to the golf course with two-bedrooms plus a den, and space to park your golf cart. One of the largest single-family homes recently listed on the market has four-bedrooms.

The estate is updated with its own swimming pool and hot tub. It also has golf course views. Found in South Fort Myers, Lexington Country Club is located close to Summerlin Road and Bass Road.
