Introducing Sawgrass at Coral Lakes
A new townhome community is headed to Cape Coral, as PulteGroup makes plans to develop Sawgrass at Coral Lakes. This Centex-branded neighborhood will soon be part of the existing, master-planned community of Coral Lakes.
Developers recently closed on land for the new development, where crews plan to construct 230 new townhomes. It’s expected the first quick move-in homes in Sawgrass could be ready for new ownership by summer of next year.
The new townhomes will be priced starting from the $200,000s, with between 1,600 to 1,800 square feet of living space. Buyers will be able to find floorplans with three-bedrooms, 2.5-baths and either a one- or two-car garage.
Common features and finishes include a first floor half-bath, an optional covered lanai, a paver drive and a tile roof. The homes will also feature large kitchens and an open-concept floor plan.
Owners at Sawgrass will additionally have access to a number of shared amenities, including two resort-style swimming pools and have access to the Coral Lakes clubhouse and fitness center. Other options include volleyball and tennis courts, a baseball field and soccer fields.
As well, the development will also offer some sidewalks for jogging or walking. The larger development of Coral Lakes stretches for 370-acres, including dozens of acres of freshwater lakes.
Coral Lakes also offers some space for single-family homes, the majority of which come with family-friendly floorplans. As for Sawgrass, it’s expected to attract a variety of buyers, from entry-level professionals to families, empty nesters and snowbirds looking for a low-maintenance property at an attractive price point in this part of Florida.
The development sits in Northeast Cape Coral, a couple of miles west of US 41. The location is conveniently close to a shopping center and major grocery store, as well as a number of area restaurants and retailers.
