Gulfside Twelve Breaks Ground on Second Residential Building

A second residential building is now underway at Gulfside Twelve, where crews recently broke ground on a new structure to complete the property. The new building will house the final eight luxury units of Gulfside Twelve and bring the total to 12.

The property is one of the first new developments to come to Fort Myers Beach since Hurricane Ian a year ago. The old Carousel Beach Motel was seriously damaged in the hurricane, so back in February it was finally demolished for good, making way for construction of the next and final phase of development of Gulfside Twelve.

The first phase of the Gulf-front property brought in four new units, each of which includes 4,000 square feet of living space. The original condos of Gulfside Twelve include four-bedrooms and 4.5-baths.

The units also come with a flex room and a large lanai. They were priced above $4 million, and each of them has already been sold. The condos overlook the sand and the water, making this one of the most coveted new properties in the area.

Phase II of Gulfside Twelve ushers in the remaining eight units planned for the site. Construction will also bring about some outdoor living space and a resort-style swimming pool to the property.

The first residents of Phase I are expected to move in this coming December, while Phase II residents will likely move in sometime next year. Demand is also said to be strong for the remaining units of Gulfside Twelve.

Already, the development is getting a lot of outside attention, too. Recently, Gulfside Twelve received an Aurora Award for “Best on the Boards- Multifamily”.

The award goes to project designs and concepts that are planned for the near future. You’ll find Gulfside Twelve going up along Estero Boulevard in Fort Myers Beach.
