The 2nd Most Beautiful Hospital in the United States, Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, is sitting right in our backyard! The Soliant Health’s 6th Annual list of the 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in America spotlights hospitals that make patients feel better on arrival. Happy hospitals make happy patients. The list was based on votes compiled from hospital staff, patients and supporters. The prestigious list puts Gulf Coast Medical Center in good company with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California and Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, Nevada, and is one of only 2 hospitals in Florida to make the list (the other one, Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay).
