Five Reasons We Love West Bay

From golf and tennis to pickleball and more, there’s plenty to love about West Bay Club in Estero. This gated, golf community is packed with amenities, but that’s not the only thing that draws in new residents to this premiere community.

Private Beach Club

One of the most talked about extras is West Bay’s Private Beach Club. Located on Little Hickory Island, all residents and their guests are invited to experience the Beach Club. There’s no separate membership requirement for residents to utilize it.

River Park

If you want to actually get out on the water, you can do that too at West Bay Club. Because the club’s River Park is right on the Estero River, it’s easy to launch one of the club’s canoes or kayaks. You can also do some fishing or paddleboarding, and there’s room for some private boat and kayak storage, too.

Golf Course

Of course, many people choose Florida not just for the sand and water, but for golf, and West Bay has that, too. Originally constructed in the late 1990s, the recently renovated golf course attracts those of all abilities, from weekend players to pros. A golf membership is restricted to less than 300 members at West Bay Club.

Tennis

Along with golf, there’s tennis. The state-of-the-art facility at West Bay is often called “The Net”. All eight Har-Tru courts include center court viewing and the tennis program is accessible to all residents. Of the eight courts, half are lighted for night play.

Real Estate Options

Another thing that’s great about choosing West Bay is that the club offers plenty of different options in terms of real estate. Prospective buyers can choose from a custom-designed home on a large lot, a low-rise condo, or a high-rise residence. There’s also the option for a custom estate, a luxury villa, a condo with an attached garage, or a more budget-friendly, single-family home. The latest addition to West Bay is a luxury condo tower called The Island with sweeping views of the Gulf and the golf course.
