Exclusive Hermitage Community Promises a Boat Dock in Every Backyard
If you’ve always dreamed about a Southwest Florida boating lifestyle, you’ll want to seriously consider the exclusive Hermitage community of Cape Coral. Every backyard comes with a boat dock in Hermitage, meaning you can boat directly from your own home whenever you choose.
Not only do the canal-front homes have direct Gulf access, but the private boat docks in Hermitage are large enough for deep-water yachts and sailboats to park right on the edge of your property. The community is also marked by lush, tropical landscaping and cobblestone streets.
As Cape Coral’s first gated community, Hermitage is extremely exclusive, with less than 20 homes in all. The majority of homes in the community are priced upwards of one-million-dollars, with some of the most expensive homes sometimes in the multi-million-dollar range.
It’s common to find homes in Hermitage that start at around 3,400 square feet of living space, but there are also some much larger homes that easily exceed 5,000 square feet of living space. Most of the luxury estate homes sold in recent years in the Hermitage community have included three- to four-bedrooms, at least three-baths, and up to a three-car garage.
You may also find private swimming pools and screened-in lanais with the homes of Hermitage, as well as an excess of living and entertaining space. Many of the more established homes have been nicely maintained over the years, and some have been extensively remodeled to better reflect their upscale surroundings.
The Hermitage community sits to the north of the Intracoastal and Tarpon Point Marina, which is just off Chiquita Boulevard. Living in the southwestern section of Cape Coral means the Sanibel and Captiva islands are just a short boat ride away from home, plus you can easily reach prime restaurants, shopping, and entertainment offerings in this part of Cape Coral.
