Estate Living on Caloosa Preserve

With large lots and a peaceful, more secluded waterfront setting, it’s easy to enjoy estate living on Caloosa Preserve. This riverfront community sits close to Alva, encircled by towering trees, native wildlife and birdlife, and plenty of privacy.

Each lot in Caloosa Preserve is at least one-acre in size, with options either on the riverfront or sometimes on one of the freshwater lakes. It’s not uncommon to spot otters and manatees out in the water living in Caloosa Preserve, as this community feels more rural than some others in this part of the state.

The riverfront homes in the community of Caloosa Preserve start at 3,400 square feet of living space, but some are even larger than that. The river homesites are also deep and wide.

Meanwhile, the non-riverfront homes in Caloosa Preserve commonly start at 2,400 square feet of living space, with varying dimensions for the lots. These well-landscaped homes in the community come in four different architectural styles, including either French Country, Florida Traditional, Spanish Mediterranean, or Antebellum.

Many of the homes built in Caloosa Preserve were constructed by Marvin Homes, which has been constructing in select communities in Southwest Florida since the early 1970s. The homebuilder typically constructs homes that include three- to four-bedrooms and at least two- or more baths.

Found less than a half-hour drive from Fort Myers, Caloosa Preserve is even closer to some area restaurants, grocery stores, and other conveniences. This means residents are able to easily enjoy the privacy of living a bit further out, while remaining close enough to still take advantage of nearby amenities.

As for some of the neighborhood inclusions, Caloosa Preserve offers its residents access to a boat ramp and there is some dock space. A large pavilion can be utilized for gatherings and festivities, while you’ll also find some park areas and a nature walk.
