Emerald Cove offers Premier Gated Living in the Cape

For those who enjoying a boating lifestyle, Emerald Cove presents the opportunity for premier, gated living in the Cape. As many homes are found right on Weatherly Lake, living in Emerald Cove means easy access to the waterfront, including to several miles of freshwater canals, leading on to several other lakes in the area.

This means the opportunity to get out and do some boating, fishing, and kayaking whenever you choose. For this reason, some of the homes of Emerald Cove come with private boat docks and lifts, and many of them feature fantastic water views.

You will also find such community-wide amenities as a private sand beach and fishing pier, a party pavilion, a playground, and a community swimming pool. While the community itself isn’t particularly large, the private beach helps set it apart, as does its affordability in terms of gated communities in Cape Coral.

There are just 100 or so homes to choose from in the entire, gated community, which is considered to be one of the city’s more established neighborhoods. The homes come in both single and two-story floorplans, most of which were constructed in the late 1990s and contain a minimum of two or three-bedrooms.

The homes sit alongside mature landscaping, as well. As part of central Cape Coral, living in Emerald Cove positions residents within easy access of nearby dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Originally developed around the midcentury mark, Cape Coral began as a planned community. The city has grown substantially in recent years and is now considered the largest city between Miami and Tampa.

Of course, it’s the hundreds of miles of canals for which Cape Coral is known. That’s what often draws in those interested in a boating lifestyle to this part of Florida. That includes those attracted to the well-established community of Emerald Cove.
