Crown Colony is a Crown Jewel in Golf Communities

With access to world-class golf, tennis, swimming, and more, Crown Colony is truly a crown jewel in terms of golf communities. Filled with upscale homes and high-end amenities, the gated community of Crown Colony Golf & Country Club is a favorite destination for those interested in a golf course setting.

This is an equity golf course community, with an Audubon-designated, 18-hole course. Said to be challenging for even experienced golfers, the course leads around towering pines and native wetlands. Recently, the club even hosted the LPGA Drive On Championship, which was held in 2022.

As well, the club has hosted golf events for the Society of Seniors on multiple occasions, plus you’ll find many other golf events scheduled throughout the season. Despite its popularity, the club maintains small membership numbers, which helps ensure the availability of tee times.

Besides golf, other options at Crown Colony include a large swimming pool and hot tub, as well as a fitness center. You’ll find several Har-Tru lighted tennis courts at Crown Colony too, plus the clubhouse offers some dining space, some social rooms, and some locker rooms.

This newer construction community was developed in the 2000s, and these days you’ll find around 550 homes to choose from. Options range from condos to villas to estate homes.

The condos of Crown Colony typically include around 1,600 to 2,000 square feet of living space. The villas, meanwhile, often include around 1,800 to 2,400 square feet of space. The single-family homes of Crown Colony generally provide for at least 2,000 square feet of space, although some exceed 3,000 square feet.

At the same time, Crown Colony exists simply a short drive away from area conveniences, including restaurants, theaters, grocery stores, and schools. The location also means living just a short drive away from area beaches for outdoor fun and recreation.
