Coconut Cove Coming to Fort Myers

coconut cove fort myers A new maintenance-free, gated community is coming to Fort Myers. Coconut Cove is set to open sometime later this fall, exclusively offering your choice of just 47 single-family homes, all with preserve or lake views. Built up by Neal Communities, this highly sought after area will also provide new residents with easy access to an excess of watersports and outdoor recreational pursuits in the region. These coastal-themed homes will come in either Island elevation or French Colonial styles, consisting of seven different floor plans ranging from around 1,800 to 2,900 square feet of living space. As well, the planned homes are expected to be energy efficient with natural gas utilities. Once zoned for agriculture, Coconut Cove is being constructed just off US 41, along Pine Road north of Estero. Looping around a neighborhood lake, plans call for the homes to be accessed off of Pine Road. The Breckenridge Golf and Tennis Club already sits at the southern edge of the private enclave community, giving homeowners other options in area recreation, along with the rest of the Fort Myers and Estero areas. The desirable location also puts residents in close proximity to canoeing, kayaking and manatee watching along the Estero River plus not far from area beaches either. As well, the site enjoys a location close to prime dining, shopping and entertainment options in the Fort Myers area. Part of the Lee County School District, students living within Coconut Cove will be serviced by South Fort Myers High School. Coconut Cove is the latest offering from Neal Communities in the region. Avalon in Naples is also scheduled to open up this fall while Daniels Place in Fort Myers opened up this past spring. Along with Fort Myers, Estero and Naples, the private builder also constructs homes in Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice.
