For the ease of low HOA fees and more, you won’t want to pass up the opportunity to further discover one of the hottest neighborhoods in Fort Myers. Casa Del Lago offers a fitness center and tennis courts, plus a swimming pool and spa.

Along with some of the shared community amenities, residents of Casa Del Lago also enjoy getting together for frequent social activities, including some themed parties, dinners, and ice cream socials. You’ll also find billiards, and easy access to the nearby Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve.

This gated community does have a quarterly HOA fee, but the cost is reasonable, especially considering it funds clubhouse activities, landscaping, in-home security monitoring and basic cable. Along with that quarterly fee, homeowners are also responsible for Property Owners Association fee.

That yearly fee helps maintains the wildlife preserves that back up to homes in Casa Del Lago. While just minutes away from the nearby nature preserve and its boardwalk, the community is also close to the recreational possibilities of John Yarbrough Linear Park and Brooks Community Park, as well as conveniently close to several restaurants and a Whole Foods Market.

As for the homes of Casa Del Lago, they first started going up in the late 1990s. Today, the community offers buyers the choice of nearly 200, low-maintenance homes.

Most of the residences of Casa Del Lago tend to range from around 1,700 square feet to 3,000 square feet of living space. While home styles do vary throughout the community, it’s typical to find homes with two- to four-bedrooms, and up to 3.5-baths.

Many of the homes of Casa Del Lago are accented with Spanish-tiled roofs and stucco siding. Most homes in the community have a two-car garage as well, plus many of them have their own private swimming pools and other upscale luxuries.
