Cape Coral has been named #5 on a list of Top Places to live in Florida, according to California-based Movoto Real Estate Blog. Florida was hailed for its terrific range of activities---beaches, theme parks, water activities, auto racing, and more.
Movoto judged more than 100 cities and towns in Florida on factors such as quality of life, amenities, crime, taxes, weather, unemployment and commute time. Cape Coral was tied for 5th place with Jupiter and Gainesville. Other cities that made the Top 10 places to live in Florida are Davie, Coconut Beach and Weston.
Cape Coral’s high ranking, according to Movato, is due in part to the Cape’s art festivals, July 4th celebration and massive Oktoberfest, 400 miles of canals, proximity to water that gives both it residents and visitors a large choice of good seafood restaurants, like Pete’s Fish and Chips.
Cape Coral is known as the “waterfront wonderland” as its slogan proclaims. Part of Cape Coral’s charm is its affordable homes, enjoying an ample supply.
