The rumors that you may have heard up north that nobody walks anywhere in Cape Coral are a bit of a stretch. The Downtown Cape Coral Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) District neighborhood offers a multitude of reasons and places to walk in the heart of Cape Coral. This area is home to several condo developments offering affordable living options and the ability to walk to many retail, dining and entertainment venues as well as a farmer's market. The recent transformation of the Leapin Lizzard into Fords Garage, coupled with the game-changing Awesome Bar and Eatery and the new Starbucks coming to the intersection of Cape Coral Parkway and Chester Street is creating a renewed sense of vibrancy in the CRA District. While prices have risen dramatically in other Downtown Southwest Florida neighborhoods like the Fort Myers River District and Old Naples, affordability rules the day in the the 432-acre Cape Coral CRA District. A wide selection of condo residences are available in the $100,000 to $200,000 range, many of which have spectacular water views and gulf access boating available. Here is a resource to view Cape Coral CRA District Condos that are currently available for sale.
