The Briarcliff neighborhood in South Fort Myers is one of the true hidden gems in Southwest Florida. This neighborhood offers the serenity of rural Florida communities like Buckingham and Alva, yet is located just minutes to all the South Fort Myers and Estero destinations. The character of the Briarcliff neighborhood changes today with the opening of the Metro Parkway extension which intersects Briarcliff Road just west of the Parkway Baptist Church. It seems likely that Briarcliff will be "discovered" and many more people will learn about and want to move to this convenient, secluded neighborhood. Briarcliff is home to several private communities including the upscale, gated Blackhawk and Hidden Pines neighborhoods. More modest single-family homes are available in the Briarcrest, Huntington Woods and Laurel Oaks communities. If you are interested in leaning more about the Briarcliff Road area, here is a resource which provides an overview of Briarcliff Road real estate and the various communities in this soon to be discovered part of Fort Myers.
