Bonita Fairways: Established Golfing Community

For the enjoyment of an established golf course community in Bonita Springs, you cannot go wrong with Bonita Fairways. Perhaps one of the biggest draws of the community is its Gordon Lewis-designed, executive golf course, which first opened in the early 1990s.

The Bonita Fairways homeowner’s association, however, recently took control of the golf club and its public course. Future plans call for completely renovating this challenging Bonita Springs course, its café and its pro shop.

In addition to the golf course, you will also find a clubhouse in the resort community, as well as a fitness room, kitchen, library and billiards. Other options for residents include the property’s tennis courts, bocce courts, shuffleboard courts and its swimming pools.

Along with all of the community’s top amenities, Bonita Fairways is also home to a variety of residential designs in a handful of distinct neighborhoods. Buyers have their choice of single-family homes, condos or coach homes in Bonita Fairways.

It’s possible to find a two-bedroom condo in the community priced under $200,000. It’s also possible to find some single-family homes in the greater community priced in the $300,000s, some of which were constructed in more recent years.

Unlike some other golf communities in the region, however, buyers searching in Bonita Fairways still have the option of new construction condos. The Botanika neighborhood not only allows for new construction residences with access to the amenities of a much larger community, but also the enjoyment of its own exclusive clubhouse for residents of Botanika.

Outside of the large Bonita Springs community, you’ll find some of the region’s best beaches and shopping destinations, some of which are simply a short drive away from the homes of Bonita Fairways. The community is also a reasonable distance from Florida Gulf Coast University and Southwest Florida International Airport.
