Babcock Ranch Surpasses 4000th Sale

Development is pushing ahead at full speed in Babcock Ranch, where the innovative community just surpassed its 4,000th home sale. The milestone only makes sense for a community that was named just last year as the seventh fastest-selling, master-planned community in the entire nation.

Babcock Ranch is still expanding too, as it’s expected to be home to more than 19,000 residences when it finally reaches full build-out. The very first home was sold in 2017.

Several distinct neighborhoods make up Babcock Ranch, expertly designed around parks and playgrounds. The MidTown section of the greater community is one of the newest areas, which includes a half-dozen, interconnecting linear parks dubbed The Pkwy.

Later this year, Babcock Ranch will see the completion of three new parks and a sports complex. New neighborhoods in MidTown and WestTown bring additional options for low-maintenance villas and single-family homes to Babcock, although there are already countless neighborhoods to choose from featuring your choice of single-family homes, coach homes, townhomes, and villas.

Along with its beautifully designed homes, the massive community of Babcock Ranch is also home to six-million square feet of designated commercial space. A second shopping center is in the works, with a location right across from Crescent B Commons. As the first shopping center in the community, it is anchored by a Publix.

Noted as the nation’s first solar-powered community, Babcock Ranch is also home to the central hub of Founder’s Square. You’ll sometimes find live music at the bandstand, plus individual communities withing Babcock Ranch feature their own amenities, such as tennis courts and community swimming pools.

In addition, the master-planned community of Babcock Ranch offers easy access to local schools right inside the community. A new partnership with Tampa General Hospital means an urgent care facility is coming to the community in the future.
