Arborwood Preserve Coming To Fort Myers

A new single-family home community is coming to Fort Myers in 2016 in the master-planned Gateway area. Arborwood Preserve by WCI is a private, gated community boasting over 70 acres of sparkling lakes and 20+ acres of quiet natural preserves. WCI Communities announced in 2015 that they have bought land for the future community located at 11602 Arborwood Preserve Boulevard. Arborwood Preserve is bordered on the north by Gateway Golf & Country Club, and on the south and southwest by Commerce Lakes Drive. The brand new community is coming in 2016 and will feature several new single-family home designs, ranging in size from 1,375 square feet to more than 2,700 square feet. Home plans and pricing have not yet been finalized. Arborwood Preserve will be just minutes from spring training baseball at nearby Jet Blue Stadium (Boston Red Sox) and Hammond Stadium (Minnesota Twins); golf at Gateway Golf & Country Club; plays and concerts at Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Center; fishing; and of course, the world-renowned beaches of Gulf of Mexico like Sanibel Island and Captiva are close by. Additionally, Arborwood Preserve will be near athletic events and classes at Florida Gulf Coast University, and close to upscale shopping and restaurants at Gulf Coast Town Center, Coconut Point Mall, and Bell Tower Plaza. Downtown Fort Myers is close by with alfresco dining and nightclubs.
