Altaira Luxury High-Rise Coming to The Colony

A 21-story condo tower called The Altaira featuring 76 luxury residences is being planned for The Colony Golf & Bay Club in Bonita Springs. Construction will begin next year and completed by June 2017. This will be WCI Communities’ first tower project in 7 years. Florida is experiencing a rebirth of condo development. Residential real estate is recovering and we are seeing prices of existing condos go up as supply declines. Towers have always been a part of the lifestyle in Southwest Florida. While prices have yet to be disclosed, Altaira’s lead architect for the firm Curtis Gaines Hall Jones plans to design 2 floor plans available per floor, with approximately 3,000 and 3,300 square feet plus expansive private terraces for each residence. Garage parking and storage will be on the 1st floor, and owner amenities and guest suites on the 2nd floor. The tower will contain 76 luxury units---4 per floor.
