Verandah Real Estate
Verandah is a 1,456-acre master-planned community located on the banks of the Orange River in East Fort Myers. Verandah was developed as an environmentally friendly and sustainable community utilizing "green building" practices. Nearly two thirds of Verandah has been set aside as open space including nine miles of trails, natural preserve areas, parks, wetlands, lakes and golf courses.
Verandah features Old Orange, a Bob Cupp designed 18-hole championship golf course and Whispering Oak, a Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II, designed course that was named one of the top five private courses in the country by Golf Inc. Magazine.
Verandah amenities include a club house, waterside dining, fitness center, tennis, river walk and bike path. Verandah features a riverfront boat house with a general store, canoe and kayak launch.
At full build-out, Verandah will feature approximately 1,700 homes.
