San Carlos Park
Known for its affordable housing and family-friendly neighborhoods, San Carlos Park is a census-designated section of Fort Myers. San Carlos Park covers about 5 square miles and is home to just over 16,000 residents. Much of San Carlos Park was built-out in the 1990s. The San Carlos Park community is also popular with the real estate investors.
The centralized location of San Carlos Park offers easy access to the major attractions and destinations of Southwest Florida. Shopping at Coconut Point Mall, Florida Gulf Coast University and Germain Arena are located just to the south in Estero. To the west is Estero Island and Fort Myers Beach and to the north Fort Myers.
The Karl Drews Community Center is popular with San Carlos Park residents for its wide range of activities and amenities including a heated swimming pool and skateboard park. Golfers can enjoy the semi-private John E. O'Conner designed 18-hole course at the San Carlos Golf & Country Club. San Carlos Park schools include Three Oaks Elementary, Three Oaks Middle and Estero High School.
San Carlos is located off US-41 just south of Fort Myers and north of Estero.
